AO4 - Interview location and recording methods.

Location of interviews
Interview locations can be very important as it creates an atmosphere to what is happening or what can possibly happen in the future.
Possible distractions which could set a scene are;
- Noise
- traffic
- People in the surroundings
- countries/cities where the interview are held
- war scenes/clips
weather (rain, sun, wind) etc.

Interviews can be held in all different klind of conditions, these can certainly effect the outcome of the interviews and the questions which are asked and possibly the answers.
For example; interviews which are held on football pitches can be very hard to record as there is a lot of noise in the background, people getting into the cameras view and speaking over the person being interviewed meanwhile interviews which are held in a studiowill be completely different as the room would be quiet, theres only a fewpeople but they speak their turn when it is available etc.

Recording methods

There are many ways to record the inforamtion provided in an interview, they can be recorded by the following;
- recorder
- notes (short writing)
- key facts (therme, topic)

A03 - Animal testing

Animal testing

Animals are used in test labs on products such as; Household materials, Agricultural chemicals, Industrial chemicals, Pesticides, Paint, Food additives etc. Animals are used to check whether they have certain materials or chemicals in that could harm someone, whether that would be rashes, bruising or even death.
Some animals are even used to test beauty products such as lipstick, make-up etc. this is now banned in Britain.

Positives about Animal testing
  • Using animals for testing has helped human development and allowed Scientists to create medicine which can take away pain (pain killers, morphine), without the use of animals, medical science wouldn't be as strong as it would be.
  • Medical science has been reasearching on diseases liek HIV, Aids etc for years, animals have helped humans move towards the best outcome as some diseases are helped killed within the body by using antibiotics.

Issues/negatives about Animal testing
  •  With some testing on animals, they can be unreliable as they could react differently to certain chemicals or materials,
  • Animals can be killed during testing, which does not give a good impression to the population throughout the country, as there is schemes which have been placed into law to prevent animal cruelty.
